Hi all I have a 1983 ford 7710 4wd with the apl325 axle after I bought it the bearing collapsed and destroyed the hub so I purchased a new hub along with seals and bearings I fitted my orginal part with the wheel studs on and the tophat and put the correct oil and amount in. After 2 years i noticed oil on the inside of the rim and on further investigation i found the back seal was leaking so I went and replaced the seal and all the bearings as the bearing was severly marked and very rough looking I cleaned all and reassembled it all again and with inside 2 months the same thing has happened again. I am trying to find what is being done wrong or is it inferior parts or could it be the orginal new hub that was purchased.
Thanks for information
John

I had a Ford 5640, and the front axle was built by Cararo , or Kararo ? Not sure if the spelling, but Ford didnt build it. The same front axel was used on several tractors including Zetor tractors. When my Front axel was starting to show wear, we had it jacked up off the ground and it was loose and could be jiggled, we changed all of the bearings bushings seals everything. You can be sure, if one part in a 4wd front axle is shot, the whole thing is wore out.
