So is that seat to the right of the steering wheel for the passenger? Maybe to run implements?That wheel mounted down low looks hefty enough that you might not want to be both steering and turning that.

If you set and drive then the breaking plow is set up
wrong. Strange.

I don't think that it was a Melvin, but there was a write-up on another three wheeled tractor. It was driven with the drive wheels in the back for transport and on roads, so the driver went to the other side of the steering wheel.
