Anyone order from Titan Attachments through Amazon?

I was looking for a set of quick-attach pallet forks and found that Titan Attachments offers a real nice looking gantry for a good price.

So I placed the order and somewhere in the mix Amazon changed the shipping address to my billing address. I inquired about changing the shipping address and got this response:

"Unfortunately, we are not able to make any orders that are placed through Amazon."

What? They have my money, it shows as being "shipped" but it sounds like they have no intention of fulfilling my order.

Don't worry I've let them have it with both barrels, and reported them to Amazon. If they're not offering product through Amazon then why are they offering product through Amazon?

This better be one helluva misunderstanding. I'm sick of getting screwed over. Mom and Dad's estate lawyer is trying to take the farm. Now this, and this is just the latest. You make an agreement and then they go all Darth Vader on you, "I am altering the deal. Pray I don't alter it any further."

I'm guessing it's a typo and make actually means change. It is likely shipped and is coming to
the billing address.

Yes,
Friend got a hay fork to move round bales.
I bought titian's 4 ft fork with a brush guard.
Both free shipping form amazon

My forks were rated at 4000#
Lifting the antique metal brake

was pushing the limit of what the kubota can lift.

They are not light. I used terramite with forks to get them off
the semi that delivered them to my house.
Don't use forks often, but priceless when I need them.

I call it a good value.

You might play a game with Amazon. Put the forks you want in your buy list or cart. See how long it takes before titian sends you a 10% off offer.
Might get a discount if you go to the titian site and view their attachments.
They were a motivated seller when we were looking at Titian attachments.
I think titian has a combo forks/hay spear.

There seems to be an odd interaction between certain vendors and Amazon. I had a similar problem with an order.
I placed it through Amazon and it got delayed several times. Amazon finally posted a long range of potential
dates for me to receive the order and stopped trying to update. I went back and ordered the same item in a
different Amazon listing by the same seller. They had lots of different listings and different prices for the same item.
It doesn't make any sense, but I got the second order in six days.
The first order came in three weeks after that.

I am sorry for your troubles. I purchased a couple of items from
Titan this past year. If you purchase from their web site it is
free shipping, so I did not mess with Amazon. Two items were
shipped together, but one 550 lb item did not come. I contacted
Titan and within a few days they shipped a new item. How Fed Ex
Freight lost a 550 lb item I'll never know.

You should've just went thru Titan direct. They always have free shipping . I've bought forks, bale spear, grapple, and coupla plates and never had a problem. Good Luck.

When you order through Amazon you have to deal with them, not the original seller. Your seller may not even know who you are and even if they do they cannot alter the shipping address behind Amazon's back.

If Amazon can't fill an order on time, request a refund.
Amazon is very good about returns, refunds and making things
right with no hassle..
Good chance you can get credit back by whatever means you paid
for it in seconds. Go to your orders and follow directions,
easy.

There seems to be a growing swindling practice on the internet. Ads offering certain valuable merchandise items at TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE prices. They get your money and you get nothing!!

Strange things can and do happen when you deal with Amazon. It got so I rarely used them so I canceled my prime account. But I continued getting billed by them every
month. Automatic payment made by bank. I don't remember ever agreeing for that to happen. I contacted Amazon, which took a long, long, long time and they informed me that
I did not have an account with them. Asked me if I had an account under another name. I didn't, but then I was getting billed under my own name so if I had an account
with them under another name that shouldn't be happening. I had my bank deny payment and then had them put a block on any payment to Amazon. Never heard another word
about it. That was about a year ago. I don't order anything through Amazon and am getting along just fine. Walmart delivers free and fast. So does John Deere. I'm happy.

Reminds me of once when my dad ordered a baseball glove for me from Sears mail order in the mid-50's. My dad went ballistic, my mom gave him some good advice, told him to settle down and relax. I ended up with a new glove eventually. I'm sure all will be fine with your order, after all you're not applying for membership in the Mar-a-Lago Golf Resort after paying in advance .....

Amazon and evil are about the same. I don't do business with them. I typically buy direct in town and forget the online thing. Returns are easy and no fooling around with the he said she said crap. Got good local people that the owners still stand behind the counter. Makes it much easier to deal with.

Sounds like the seller has dropped its arrangement with Amazon. Ask Amazon for a refund and look for another seller.

You could check the first seller's website to see if they are taking direct orders. At this point dealing directly with the first seller will be higher risk than dealing with Amazon.

I only ask because you opened the door. How is the lawyer trying to cheat you? Was there not a will done? Are there creditors
involved? I know that this is a very sensitive issue for people so if you want to discuss it no further then fine. Sometimes it
helps when you break out of the circle and get fresh voices. Yeah. Yeah. John T will say get a lawyer and I do not disagree. But
I have had to use lawyers before and you have to watch them like you have to watch the clerk at the store to make change for a 10
dollar bill buying 8 dollars of gas. There are plenty of mediocre and worse lawyers out there.

I really liked Amazon until they somehow enrolled me in Prime and deducted money directly from my credit union account. I do not order much, so it was not good for me. Ever try to reach the right place in the Amazon cloud? Finally went to the credit union to stop the prime deduction, which they did and eventually got my money back. Leo

yes, Amazon will sneakily try to get you on PRIME. watch the small print when choosing the shipping option. And have fun
getting to the spot to 'cancel'... It can be done, but ,,, But easier then cancelling DISH TV !!!

I dont buy anything from Amazon!! Hurting the little guy and hurting the country. Dont want to be political, but they hurt us all the way they do business.

Doesnt seem like very many understand how Amazon works. A large part of whats sold there is sold by small businesses. It allows some of these mom and pop shops to make it.

Amazon didn't change your delivery address, you probably forgot to verify which address you wanted it delivered too. If you don't check the delivery address box, it defaults to the billing address. Amazon handles the complete transaction, not Titan and I don't think they can modify the order or delivery address once the order is submitted.

I have 2 payment options, both have a different billing address (personal card/home & company card/work) and often I want items delivered to different addresses ( work vs home) I often forget to check the delivery address box and the package is sent to the billing address of whatever payment method I used.

I have ordered from Titan via Amazon two times and the it went smoothly on both.

Titan is one of those little guys. Amazon takes a piece of the action yes, but what middle man doesn't?

Turns out the person responding to my question left a few words out of their response. They called it a typo, but a typo is when you misspell something, not leave three CRUCIAL words out of a sentence.
