I see the ram so I assume 5.9 but what filter SV ? I try to buy the best filters I can find because I think the one that does the best job is the cheapest. Around here that usually has meant Wix. I saw on YT that they had sold out so now what ? Lee

Old news. WIX parent company (Affinia Group) was acquired by Mann Hummel in 2015 - 2016. Mann Hummel is one of the largest filtration companies in the world.

you get what u pay for. any OEM FILTER has i smaller micron rating than a jobber filter. for example the oem can be 7 micron while the jobber is 10 micron . so now you know the rest of the story. brand names mean nothing unless you look deeper.
 
Be careful George. According to the yt manufacturing and engineering department every single part is all made in one factory to the same spec the only difference is the price you pay .
 
I have changed all my filters to American made Baldwin years Ago and Never looked back.

Order quantity online and meet the brown truck.

They also carry filers for a lot of equipment I have that
Wix and others have long discontinued or don't fit properly.

WHAT are you illustrating with the three photos, three different filters or the variation between the distance between the pleats in ONE filter?
 
Most companies including wix has about 3 options for their common filters. Cheap, fair, better.We as consumers need to do research before buying

I know the there are at least two kinds of cheap.
One meaning inexpensive.
