Can you actually see where the road is? My driveway is short (500'), and has some curves and in deep snow, I cannot make out the outline sometimes. Mark.

That can be a real problem on "whiteout" days like this where the sky and ground are all the same colour (white). Only thing that saves me is the fence line all along the North side of my half mile driveway gives me a point of reference.

I had an eye opener in 1976 when I worked in a little junkyard in the winter. There was only about 1000 cars in the place, but after it snows they turn into 1000 white gumdrops. You could easily shovel off ten or a dozen cars looking for the one you wanted, and that was if you knew you were in the ballpark.

its not an actual road. its my field and in the winter i need a way to get to the cows at the other end of the farm. once this road gets to blown in i just make a new road beside it. think i need an old grader , like that would really pay. or get my TD14 running to push snow.

Rusty, have you ever considered a Fair brand snowblower or that style, that will take 250- 300 horse power, my nephew got one, its saving his bacon this year, he's got cattle 5 miles from home,on cornstalks! Good fence but no shelter! He's got to takes hay and bedding to them.

Ah you have snow , We got mud and a vary wet grouch cave . Makes tough working conditions for making termite food . Spent two hours yesterday sucking up the last rain storm off the basement floor to glue up two boards for a remake on and Ikea cabinet that my oldest daughter bought and is doing a redesign on . Man that stuff is garbage . keep telling her if ya want something made out of pine or what ever you buy the wood and i can build it better . I work by if 1/2 half inch is good then one inch is better . Plus it is only and hour drive to a saw mill that has fantastic wood for a price ya can't beat Kline dried rough cut . I have a planer . a jointer , and a table saw and everything BUT a shaper . . I can make it . Got the time . This is round two of the Ikea redo , the first one is setting in my dinning room . She lives 87 miles away. .

ya i really hate mud also along with that garbage sawdust furniture. that will keep you busy. hope she buy's You a big jug of C R .
