some of the fields are planted traditionally,,,the rows of radishes were sown that way

You would have to put a fur coat on that stuff to get it to grow if you were out here in Fort Collins, Co. this morning. Minus 2 below 0 with about five inches of snow on the ground at seven a.m..

I am outside of Portland Ore and at 1200 feet elevation, 8 inches of snow and rains coming for the week. Planting is a few months off yet around here.

+9 and 1+ snow in west central Missouri.
Guess we could go sow the radishes in the snow!
Neat areas.
What will you plant in the mushroom compost area? Ole Wes fixed you up. He's neat to watch! GG

I set my rows like you I like to drive between them. I plow it all up and start over each year. You are giving me thoughts : ) I have the mulch I collect it all year I mulch everything except the corn.

No question Mulch is a gardner's best friend and the mold in the
mulch is my worst enemy.
I use 12-12-12. Going to experiment with plastic mulch this
year, black on one side and white on the other side.

Hello Larry,

You should try your hand at growing micro greens. All done inside, basement etc, and quite interesting. My youngest son does it and sells off the crop. I find it very interesting. We had some issues getting the soil right but got it figured out what internet research.

doing same here, large rear tine tiller is for sale now, large gardens are gone went to raised beds using water tanks, just plant and water more often otherwise all other work is gone. so far we had pretty good luck, still put all pumpkins gourds in with sweet corn rows.

That's a boat load of radishes, what do you do with all of them?? I have 3 bales of straw from a neighbor, I'm going to try gardening in them next year.
