Neither did I.

Considering the owner's comments, I suspect that the front engine is working harder.

Two stroke Detroit's gutless wonders no lug ability and no go unless wound tight as an eight day clock. Sorry pile of junk good for a boat anchor. Yes I've driven trucks with them in what a sorry excuse of an engine. About as much good as a B.S. engine is.
 
I ran 6-71 when I was in the navy stationed at GTMO working at the boat shed. Got to run their big brothers too when transferred to a small tanker.
