The colors changed depending on where it was made. The California tractors were red with galvanized wheels and chrome lights. The hood decals were small and white.

The NC tractors varied from red with yellow grills and seat or red with yellow grills, seat, fenders, and wheels. The lights were yellow. The hood decals were much larger with a different font than the CA tractors and were yellow. The NC tractors also had a white "Turner Manufacturing" decal on the right side panel. There are a few original photos of the NC tractors on the web but many of the "NC" tractor photos are wrong as far as the color scheme but it is your tractor and you should feel free to paint it what ever color seems appropriate.

I have only seen the smaller white decals for sale. I have not seen any of the larger yellow decals for the NC tractors for sale. I have one of each type, a CA tractor and a NC tractor, and had to draw the correct font for the NC tractor and had some hood decals printed. The smaller white hood decals would not be the corrects ones for the red and yellow tractors.

These folks have some limited information on paint codes:

There was a Yahoo group that had more information but is unfortunately now gone.

If your serial number is in the 5100 range then it is likely a NC tractor. The brass logo on the grill said "Burbank, Calif, U.S.A." for the CA built tractors, When the logos were reused for the NC tractors the "Burbank, Calif, U.S.A." was scratched out. If you see the Burbank logo then it will be a CA tractor, if it is scratched out then it is a NC tractor.

Implements and wheel weights were dark green.
