Looking for families T340

Hello All, I am trying to locate a tractor from my childhood. Its an international T340 crawler (somewhere between 1959-1961) that was apart of the Harry King collection. My grandpa and I took this tractor to server all shows including red power roundup. The tractor was used by Ertl toy company to make there die cast model. The tractor was sold roughly 20 years ago from its home in Ohio. I was told I may have went to a collector in Iowa but Ive not been able to confirm it. This has been a couple year search for me and locating it would mean a lot. Any advise is appreciated.

I have tried some google searches along those line. There is a
picture of one on google images as well as Pinterest that has a
torn seat and rusty tracks. Its kind of what Im expecting to find it
in and Ive looked for further information in regards to who
posted that but have not had much luck there. When I was a kid
in the 90s I remember the tractor being nicely restored. I do
know it sat in a barn for sometime before being sold. Im
expecting to find either and older restoration or it could have
been redo since then. With the condition it was in I cant image
someone put it to work but I could be wrong Most of the ones
Ive seen are the 62 and later with the headlight in the grill. Im
not sure if this helps but this is the picture Im going off of. I also
have one of it in front of the Ertl museum.

Hello Mike welcome to YT! Do you have the serial number of the machine? If not you are kind of shooting in the dark. Did it belong to Harry King before or after your Grandpa had it? I am not in the collectors circle, I web searched ..Harry King tractor collection.. nothing really came up except someone by that name in Tennessee. Would that be the correct location? Giving the town that your Grandpa lived in would also be helpful. You have a little more to go on with it having been owned by a collector and the ..modeling.. it did for Ertl so that will be helpful. I see the photos on Tractordata, see link, show one with a Fast Hitch. Do you remember if the one you are looking for was equipped that way? Also on the Tdata page it show a breakdown of the Serial numbers by year. Some guys pop in here once and a while looking for a very common model that was just a run of the mill farm tractor and do not even have the serial number. In their cases they would sooner find a needle in a haystack. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

The short version. Harry was from Perrysburg Ohio. My grandpa and him were close friends. When he passed my grandpa helped the family sell off his large tractor collection. During this time he had a B model Mack and the T340 that we took around to shows for the family. Red power that year was in Toledo Ohio and there had a memorial there for him with the crawl. The family enjoyed going to shows so we would haul the crawl around to different years. The last one I remember was in Lebanon TN. That is where this pic was taken. During the parade they stopped it for a memorial and Ertl presented the completed die cast to the family. After that the tractor went into the barn and I would ask about it but didnt see it much. I have since been able to acquire the Mack truck but the tractor was sold in the early 2000s. The only thing I have to go off of is a collector from maybe Iowa who new his stuff. Ertl is trying to look through picture they took to locate a SN but nothing has turned up. Im going to run a wanted add in Red Power magazine. It was to pretty to be worked. Im hoping to post in the right spots to find this IH guy who knows his stuff
