Working on a 5040, the owner told me the problem was no power steering and all the hydraulic oil end up in the crank case. I am assuming there is a blockage in one of the lines, or is it normal for 1 of the hydraulic pumps to dump oil in the crank case if it has a blown seal.? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Yes had the same problem years ago, just bought a seal kit for the pump and all was well. Removing the pump is pretty straight forward, had mine off in a half hour.
