E V pick ups

What do the all the major E V vehicle makers want for Christmas. How about some lithium carbonate mostly from China, Chile or Argentina for E V batteries . They would like tons of the stuff as soon as possible. Read where it goes for $ 21,000 or $ 22,000 per ton open market and is rising in price. I heard Rivian will have have 1,000 trucks pushed out the factory door by year end ready for sale. They are ahead of Ford & GM who don't have any for sale. I don't know about the window sticker on this truck. Now where are those free charging stations with free electricity.

They may start free, but it will not last.
They still have to pass laws so they can collect road use taxes too.

All of the EV pickups are currently Ponzi schemes. A few working prototypes of each, but none have been built for sale by any manufacturer. Rivian stocks just tanked because they have admitted they aren't going to churn out as many as promised by Dec 31st. No Cybertruck yet. gm is the worst, Hummer was supposed to be out in August originally. Now, gm has had to recall every EV they ever built and stop production.

EV stocks are the next dot com bubble. A lot of people are going to loose a ton of money. Tesla is the only one that will come out on top. In fact, I think the final death of gm will be in the EV graveyard of broken dreams. Only Tesla has proven EV technology with a solid saleable product.

Just look up Lithium and read about the mining and where it come from who controls the supply and you will find we are playing with a product where is no good news. BETTER find another way to make batteries without lithium largest supplier now is in AUS and where they want to mine in the USA bad news

Rivian delivering since late Sep.

However, they don't have many trucks out there yet. Surprise - due to supplier shortage, including Li batteries.

Rivian is backed by Amazon and Ford. They have a market cap greater than GM right now.
