Funny, sort of......

Sadly, I notice a growing number of people taking pride in their illiteracy. It's understandable that not everyone had ideal circumstances; the advantage of excellent teachers, the knack for school learning, or encouragement from home to do well in school. What I don't get is those that seem to pat themself on the back for it. gm

Yes. That bugs me too.

(quoted from post at 14:07:12 12/16/21) ....and snarky is grammatically correct? Lol

Ben

Use of [i:579a40ca7d]snarky[/i:579a40ca7d] is a usage matter, not grammar; slang is informal register but grammatically correct. Your use of the word as a word is also grammatically correct but is orthographically incorrect as words use as words are italicized.

"Maybe he just can't feel the little bumps on the f and h keys."

Most of these posts are done on phones now. They don't have
keyboards with home rows and keys to feel the index bumps on F and J.
I don't fault people for making typo's, spelling errors or grammatical errors.
It is too bad that some people don't even try though.
