My wife wont let me sell a tractor.

Generally my wife really doesnt care about what me and son do up in the shop, so I was surprised when I got a hard no when I mentioned I was thinking about selling our Cub!

I told her It doesnt get much use anymore and I could use the shop space. She reminded me that its the first tractor each of our kids drove and we should keep it.

I guess I should get the kids to drive the rest of them so she will want to keep them all! I guess I really dont want to get rid of it either so Ill put it in the corner of the shop and run it once in awhile. Maybe some day it will be the first tractor our grandkids drive!
 
I've let two tractors go this year! JD 4020D powershift, and AC 175D. My wife ran the 4020 for years fitting ahead of me as I planted. They both retired probably 10 years ago.
 
Wife has been ok with my tractors.

Mom always talked about the ihc C that dad had, she missed it when it left. Was something she must have drove a lot. It got too small to do much. It left before I came along. But mom would talk about it....

I play that grandkid card all the time. So far its worked on two minibikes, a Kittycat snowmobile, and a couple cub cadets. I'll be real proud if he goes to kindergarten with a spark plug for show and tell.
 
Yea I sold my Cub and my JD 40 and my VAC Case and my, well you get the picture. I had room for all of them to stay under cover. I just tried to find good homes for them as I went. When We were only married a year I asked if I could buy an A Farmall to plow the snow out of the driveway. I came home with two. She said you bought two? And I said you don't think that I would buy me one and not buy you one do yah? Been good every sense.
