It didnt get as warm as they called for but I worked on the 550 anyway. Oil pressure and amp guage mounted and hooked up and working. It gave me fits getting it polarized but I finally won!!!

Why did you install an oil pressure gauge with so much range? Those engines only make about 15 psi, don't they?.

Pressure gauges are usually most accurate in the middle of their travel. So for 30 PSI you want a 60 PSI gauge.

Itll be fine you will be able to see if its charging or not and whether you have oil pressure or not . I work em pretty hard ant never catastrophic failure from not knowing exact oil pressure within one a psi
