I've been buying parts to renovate my NAA Jube. Among several already, adding one to the list. If I had known not to expect an original as listed, I would have made my own, but without protective covering and saved $9.66 for a piece of stinking wire. The first picture is as advertised on this site, the second is what they sent. I called, they pled forgiveness, the usual, suppliers changed etc. Sad.

Ive had good luck with YT but Ive ordered parts before from
other vendors and did not receive what was pictured. If its not
the same as pictured it should be noted in the description.

The second looks a lot more like original. Buy your own wire loom separately if you need it. The only wires that had the loom on them originally were the ones to the rear lights anyway. Looks to me like you made out.

Yet we accept and eat the fast foods that are nothing like pictured on the marquee.

Has anyone ever had the cojones to demand a refund right there and then??

Guilty. 8)

Always been that way. Two days ago I was in a Chat with Amazon because an item was showing up as $9.99 on the page, but as $57.99 in the cart. Same happened for them. The ad for that vendor was immediately pulled, plus they issued a $15 credit. Never asked for it, but it's their way to reward people for taking the time to point out discrepancies.

Whether that glitch was intended or not will never be known.

Top one looks like bubba made it with a couple cheap crimp
ends from the dollar store and piece of cheap covering

I would have to agree with the others that the lower photo looks like better.

Personally I would have made my own. I use to make my own battery cables out of welding cable. Now you can't buy the good heavy cable anymore.

The bottom one does look more OEM I'd say. Can we ask how much this little piece of wire and two terminals cost or maybe it's a secret and you are bound to a non-disclosure clause in the sales agreement?

Oops. sorry but I misunderstood your $9.66 comment. Looks like that's what you paid right? I wonder what the real original looked like?

Thanks for all your replies and opinions. I'm a slow learner. The wire is merely a personal choice besides any wire will work. I'm learning not to set my expectations too high. Related to this was the points & Condenser I bought from here. Aside from the points terminal screw being plated instead of brass like the Echlin I removed, the stinking condenser mount clamp holes would not fit the dimples that it's supposed to locate on. I would have use my old condenser clamp but it turns out the new YT store condenser is a few mm Dia. larger. There ain't much room for the band to fit if you know what I mean, but I made it fit after an hour or so of dinking with it. Lastly, I'm pleased with the Exh. Man. mount Brass nuts from YT store. That is certainly a good thing in my opinion. I'll want to use extra care on the torque.
