Another use for red nail polish

Red nail polish is my way of marking wires.

I have a drawer full of recycled wired I use on tractors. Too cheap to by new wires. Not all my wires are one color.
So a dab of red reminds which wires are positive.

BTY. Tenant left me this bottle.
Don't want anyone to think I bought this.

Yep sounds like a good idea. With a wife and daughter in her teens you cant imagine how many bottles of nail polish are in the bottom of the bathroom vanity here. A rough estimate would be well over a hundred on the conservative side. I dont say anything. It makes them happy which in turn makes my life easier and happier.

Have a little fun with it. Paint your toenails and see how long it takes the wife to notice. Then tell her you didn't do it, your girlfriend did while you was asleep. Guaranteed to take your mind off your tractor wiring for a week or two.

I got some bright orange from a neighbor girl.Painted the front sight blade of my .22 rifle.

Clear nail polish makes a good glue. I have used it to hold the threads on the ferrules on a fishing rod. A drop on the head of the screw in your eye glass frame holds it in place
