Power of Foam Foam

I haven't seen very many products that work as advertised. It's probably the same as the detergent foam you see at car washes.

I doubt the miracle cleaning abilities of those advertisements.

They have to limit the strength of the detergent, otherwise it becomes paint stripper, like full strength Purple Power.

I don't know of anything that will get baked on grease off that will not have the potential to etch or remove paint.

I know nothing about this product; but, in the 70s, there was a product named Sure Wunder Whyte. It was a cleaner for white sidewalls. A friend of mine worked for a tire/parts store, he said this stuff is a great degreaser. I bought a gallon of the powdered form, mixed it as directed on the can, and sprayed it on one of our Fordson Majors, that had badly stained paint, from diesel being spilled on it routinely. Let it soak for about 20 minutes, and it actually lifted the yellowish/brown stains out of the blue paint. We used it regularly after that. I don't know if it is still made.

I have never tried it.

Past experiences in life always tell me the same thing: The harder you work, the closer you get to achieving a perfect job.

A lot of foam cannons on the market. I have one I attach to the end of my wand on my Hotsy brand power washer. Makes it quick to apply soap, but been my experience I still have to use the soft brush on a long handle to get road grime off.
some foam cannons

Stephen,
Things may not all work the way they are advertised, but that doesn't mean I am not open minded and try them.
$1 a bottle awesome from the dollar store is truly Awesome.
OdoBan is great stuff for removing orders and cleaning carpet.
Greased lightning works great too.

I can list many things that didn't work. Guess I'm a sucker for trying new things.

The sodium silicate is the ingredient that will attack your paint.
