My wd45 hydraulics would life my blade up twice then after that it wont lift it at all. Once I detach the blade the arms will raise. The fluid is full. Whats going on? Am I missing something obvious? I even tried to adjust the adjuster. Still nothing. Please help

Sounds like the pump is getting bad so when the oil is cold it lifts but once it gets hot the oil thins out and the pump doesn't produce the pressure it needs to lift the blade

use the decal on right side of battery box and or owners manuel Make veru sure yoy follow the four
adjustments to the letter. Only then can you carefully diagnose pump problemd. Have not had a wd45 for
al=most 50 years . Omly renber several settings for delayed lift rear arm lift and cultivator lift. g
Good luck let us know how you maake out?

Well it only lifted it twice and I shut it off right afterwards. Now that it is cold it wont lift it at all

Hey guys just wanted to let you know I think its my traction control booster. Its all the way back up against the bell housing so Im wondering if that is it. Might disconnect the entire blade tomorrow and see what happens

Like Wilson said hydraulic needs to be adjusted correctly,an owners manual will be your friend. Also do you know where to add fluid for the hydraulics and what to use? Again owners manual.

Yeah I tried all that last night

I doubt it is possible to wear out that pump in any of
our lifetimes. However, they are susceptible to dirt
hanging things up, as the spools are controlled by
strategically placed orifices, and not actually
connected to the control lever. If you get a book and
make all the appropriate adjustment, and still no
results, youre gonna have to remove the pump and
strip it down. The reseal kit is about $40, for a hand
full of o-rings and a couple gaskets and piston
springs. Just be careful and keep that little row of
spools in the right order when you knock them out.
Other than that, a real easy repair job.
