Ford F-150 AGAIN

Ok posted a few weeks ago about changing my wifes 09 f-150 fuel pump.everything was fine until after my deer hunt this morning.engine turned over but wouldnt start after running fine 4 hours earlier. Tried it again late today and it started right up!we are 150 miles from home,guess what we did? Headed home while its running.any ideas? Check engine light never came on.oh 1200 miles since fuel pump replacement

Look in the owners manual, find the fuel pump relay.

Switch the relay with another, see if that moves the problem.

Can you hear the pump run when you turn key on? Should run for a few seconds. My uncle had a similar problem with his F-150 several years ago it would act up when it got wet. There is a fuel pump module on the frame I believe in front of the spare tire you have to remove the spare tire to get to it. Its an aluminum box that corrodes then gets moisture in it.

My suggestion, follow Steve's suggestion.
That's what I did to fix my 2003 Ford Lariat
several years ago.
I now keep a spare relay in the dash.
It's a simple fix. Left side under the hood.
