False alarm on heated seats

I don't think I'll be buying anything anytime soon.
I prefer to be the first and last owner of a vehicle.
Still have the Buick I bought new in 2005, New 2007 GMC truck, and new xt5.
All are healthy, good running condition.
I may get the itch to buy something new. So far, I've been nnalert against the new car bug. Hope I'm good for a year or two.
After selling a rental, I use my truck less to pull trailers, mowers, even backhoe.
Truck may be a lifetime truck now. XT5 only has 45k, Buick 110k, truck 120k.

Makes you wonder why Ford does not ship out the thouseands of super duty trucks.
They are driven from factory to the Kentucky Motor Speedway for storage.
So why not have the destination dealer finish them?

Must be something more complicated?

The vehicles would have to be usable, or at the very least driveable, without the missing devices.

A vehicle without an engine or transmission control module is not driveable.

A vehicle without functioning HVAC or airbags is driveable, but not usable.

A vehicle without functioning heated seats or wireless cellphone charger is driveable and usable.

I love heated seats and steering wheel
warm me when outside temperatures are
around 30. No brainers, they come on
automatically. I'm spoiled for life.
Don't think you get below 30 very often,
do you?
