Yes it is true all those dangerous things are here. Did a trip to Canada many years ago and got talking to some people my wife knew and said you should visit us down under? He said no you have got deadly spiders, snakes and sharks. Thought about it, squish the spider, snakes are more scared of you than you of them, don't swim in the sea, what shark? But they have grizzly bears which I had heard can chase and chew on you! It is all relative really.

My wife and I love Australia, been there a number of times and have some great friends there. We have difficulty in finding places to stay as wherever we go friends say you are staying with us!!!!

It is a really beautiful country and great people who have a great sense of humour. poor cricket team though ;0).

Spiders to avoid are the Red Back and the White tailed, always shake your boots and ear muffs before wearing them.

Snakes are n problem if you leave them alone.
