I've posted before about my Grandfather. He was a lifelong farmer, first dairy, then corn/wheat/soybeans. He passed on to heaven Friday evening. We've been going through pictures and bringing back lots of good memories. Here's one I found, labeled as my first tractor ride. I'm guessing around 1986.
He had built a farrow to finish hog barn in 85, and I thought he bought this tractor mainly to haul manure from it.
My brother was running this tractor in the field by age 12. Grandad figured he'd put him in the biggest tractor so the manure tanker wouldn't push him around. I think the big tank was 4000 gallons. I never see them that small around nowadays, haha.
