Been a while since we did this. I like trying some of the things you folks have that I have never tried before.
For me, Raw fried potatoes with red bean gravy, couple hunks of pepper-jack cheese. Wash it down with a bottle of Grain Belt. Then for the sweet tooth, a Twix candy bar.
PS. Don't tell my doctor.

If I want raw fried potatoes I have to make them myself, bacon grease is best but olive oil works and plenty of onions with them. Haven't had them for a spell.

peel and pan fry a plain old raw potato instead of frying a boiled potato. Mom always made too many boiled taters for lunch and saved the rest to fry for supper. Very seldom fried them from raw, took too long to cook through.

Not sure myself . Thought all potatoes were raw till cooked. Mashed, baked or fried. Had a long day ! This is confusing !

Raw fried are taters that were raw before cooking. The others are ones already cooked like baked or boiled taters that they reuse in restaurants to cut down on waste. Most fried taters you get with your eggs for breakfast are ones left over from the night before or were being boiled for the dinner crowd at noon.

Mmmm. Raw fries are a favorite here... we don't have them frequently though.

Supper is not done yet:
Beef roast liberally sprinkled with Creole seasoning and roasting on a bed of diced onions.
Also roasted parselied taters in the same pan - they are done but the roast is not quite fork tender yet. Taters are waiting patiently in a small casserole on the counter.

And Popeye's canned spinach... I love that stuff. I pour off the juice when I open a can - and drink it, cold. LOL!!

Well this started yesterday. I had lunch/supper mid afternoon. T-Bone steak, over easy eggs, toast, cottage cheese. It was so good, I did it again this afternoon. Only a Top Sirloin instead of a T-Bone.

well i from what i know its frying the potatoes from raw. many time potatoes are boiled then what is not used you cut them up and fry them such as for breakfast is the way i like them. i like them from raw also so they have a bit of a crunch to them. and if you want them really really good add some cream while cooking them, and of course bacon and dill!

It has been a long day was beginning to wonder how many grain belts were involved in the making of this post
