Help! I have a farmall 450 under the TA theres a bracket that pisses out oil when I drive machine..is the TA section (hy tran fluid ) seperate from trans and rear? Is the bracket just a gasket underneath thanks!!

If it's the area that I'm thinking of, that should be dry. No oil in there. You've got a bad seal that's allowing transmission fluid to run into that dry cavity. That's a split, or two.

Thanks! I noticed theres a plug on the side too its def the TA area by clutch I wonder why there would be a level plug there
maybe to diagnose this problem?? Thanks again!

There are two possible sources of oil into that dry cavity. one is engine oil from a rear main or possibly a cam plug rusted through. the second (as noted) is the seals on the TA assembly. Either require a split of the tractor into 2 parts at the engine (at least) to replace the leaking seal. Put a drop of the oil on a sheet of paper, and compare it to the engine oil from the dip stick. If same, engine leak, if different, TA leak. Jim

Do you mean number 17 shown in the diagram the link? If I remember correctly everything above that bracket or plate has rear end lube. Of the 3 compartments you see looking at the top the center section is a dry cavity where the dry direct clutch for the TA is located. That cavity has a cast bottom separating it from the open area above the bracket. The area above the bracket is where the live PTO shaft passes through. I am pretty sure the dry clutch cavity has a weep hole so if the seals in front or behind it leak the weep hole lets it drain out so the TA clutch does not get soaked. I am not exactly sure where the weep hole is on a F450. The front compartment also has trans lube in it, this is where the drive gears are for the live PTO. Are you sure the check plug is on this section of the tractor? Usually the check level is on the rear section below the clutch pedal. Only trans fluid can leak into the dry TA clutch compartment. Double check to see if the weep hole may be where your leak is from. May have to scrape some crud off if your machine is not a painted up parade ready model.

Here is a post that shows the weep hole leaking on a 350
Utility. In the bottom left of the photo it looks like that is bottom plate 18 in the diagram of my other post. So on that tractor the weep hole is on the left side.
Leaky example

Thanks everyone!! Im going to try to post some pics here It looks as if its leaking under bracket and not anykind of weep hole I can see The side has a plug like its supposed to have some oil in it,
