Need help new R50 owner

Havent tried it out yet, putting a bunch of new parts on it while waiting for the water to go down. Got some nice, clean beans. If the beans are cracking , the manual says excessive tailings may be part of it. But I dont see any place to observe the stuff coming up the tailings elevator. So that leaves sieve adjustment, cylinder speed or concave clearance. Which to choose, or is it trial or error? Thanks Fritz

I've had an R50 for10 years just slow your rotor down and maintain a tight concave. Play with your sieve opening, I run my top at about about so I can just fit my finger tips between. Wind at about 6. Takes a little checking, if you have someone walk behind and monitor or have them drive and you check that's the easiest. It's really no different than any other combine, just a little time and you will have it right where you want it.
