NOT MINE. These tractors belong to an old guy that wants to see if he done any good while he still can.
I was talking with the auctioner, he asked if my boys could get some diesels going, they did. Now with a truck load of new batterys
and some gas , they will get the rest going. I took the homemade Ford a ride, that was fun. They all should all be running except four of them.
Come to the sale and I can put you in a feuther video, I will be there.
video here on you tube

Those 53 series from the factory were set at 2850 . back in the late 60's and into the 70's two brothers about three miles south of me had TWO , both 1950 G's on with four wheel drive the other was a two wheel drive . In the spring and fall you had STERO Detroits screaming and you could hear them five -six miles away . The only thing louder were the 8 Le TOURNEAU (sp) pans that a company i use to work for . 4 D pulls and 4 C pulls they were the king of loud The four C pulls were powered or i should say REPOWERED as when Org they came with a 6-71 two valve head with small injectors and about 180-190 Hp They were up graded to the 4 valve heads blower over drive and N71 Brown tag injectors and three 2-71 exhaust manifolds added with three 4 inch exhaust straight pipes sticking up out of the hoods . The D pulls came with a 4-71 with two valve heads and small injectors and they got the four valve heads overdrive blowers and N 71 Brown tag injectors and TWO 2-71 exhaust manifolds with 4 inch straight pipes sticking up out of the hood and all were turned up to 2550 RPM from the 2100 RPM When they were all running on the same job on a still day you could hear them 10 miles away. Yea i ran both of them at times i can still hear them and that has been 58 years since i sat in the seat of one of them.

Hey if you want an excuse to not be able to work on those old things anymore, send your tools to Bus Grease Monkey. He works on the old Detroits in buses.

My freshman year in high school was the last year for Raymond High, we then went to Marysville in my sophomore year before moving back home to Rutland, Ohio. Sue do have a lot of good memories of going to school there and the neighbors we had while we lived there. Keith
