Hoelscher accumulator on 10 series John Deere

I've been looking at hoelscher bale accumulators for a while. My main baling tractor is a 1963 John Deere 3010 diesel. I made 7000 bales this year and looking for a better way to do it. I already have a new Holland bale wagon but alot of my ground is too steep for it. I was reading about the hoelscher accumulator and heard they need alot of hydraulics and overheat systems on older tractors. I was wondering how you could make it work or even if possible to run one off of my 3010. Please offer any info/advice on how to make it work. Thanks

Have you looked at the loader or skid steer mount grapple types. They enable you to load your wagon or trailer. My buddy has one. Nothing to mount on or pull behind the baler.

i ran a hoelscher unit for several years and did alot of changing on it, the really do not like sidehills when you are going with the unit on the uphill side, they have trouble dumping and when on the downhill side they like to dump ahead of time, i changed my dump cycle to manual control it solved issues in that area. i would strongly suggest you look at the kuhn pulltype unit instead . it is alot more forgiving send me message if you would like to talk about the unit i had and changed.
