Onan engine replacement again

So heres the coupler . Looks like it would pretty easy to build a coupler to mate whatever engine you wanted

Why not look at one of the Kubota engine models used on welders. Miller has those engines in welders. At least mine has a Kubota diesel on it. Bought it new in 99.

I would think Miller should be able to help you.Just give them the model and serial number of the Onan.

Guy that used to be a frequent poster on a forum I visit frequently was a service guy at a welding supply shop. I think for a time both Miller & Lincoln used ONAN engines on their portable welders. If anyone came in with internal engine problems a complete new engine was installed. The pile of blown up ONAN engines was HUGE. The Briggs, Wisconsin, Kohler, Subaru, Kubota, and all others wasn't near as big. I know I really don't like the B48G Onan engine in my 982 Cub Cadet. SO MANY PROBLEMS, I don't want to list them all. All the same cause, Simply DUMB design engineering.
