Do Not Forget To Be Excited - Baling Hay

Sometimes we get (rightful so) all stressed during harvest and forget what it is to be excited like a kid.

This video is not mine, but is a boy and his elders baling hay for the first time. His excitement and composure is just great IMHO, in spite of their baler issues.

Enjoy!
Excitement and Baling Hay

he is a good reporter. from the start i got thinking about the old 47 ih baler that would not tie.

I was getting nervous watching those hands so close to the knotter and other moving parts near the beginning. And I understand the excitement and frustrations along the way. Glad the hay ended up inside.

It's just as well that it wouldn't tie. If they had got it baled they would have heated up and molded.

That was pretty cool, if you haven't gone through the experience of this or similar, sure makes a nice challenge to get an old baler like that working. The young man must have learned a thing or two. The hay looked like it was processed, dry/loose, pick up was having trouble with it feeding or something. So in the end they got it all in at least.

What an articulate young man. It is so nice to hear a youngster that can speak in well structured sentences without constantly saying like...like...like and you know...you know...you know. Thanks for sharing this video. He showed that he already knows how to stick with the job until it is finished. I predict this young man will do well in life and go far. It does not appear that he is afraid of work.
