1973 Ford 4000 diesel -steering issues

Hey guys I have a 1973 Ford 4000 diesel with steering issues . The gear box seems to be stripped . If anyone can help me figure out which one to get and which part number it is I would be forever grateful . Ive attached photos as well

Hi deck 4500 is what you have.

The deck where your feet are is above the transmission, it is a high deck, model 4500. Otherwise you would be straddling the transmission.

Oh copy that , thank you guys so much. This makes a lot of sense
cause the other parts I was looking at was for the Ford 4000 and stuff
wasnt adding up. Now that I actually have the real model Im sure
things will be smoother .

I have a 4500 myself but have never heard of a high deck model

Also called a "flat deck".
