IH cursive font

It would be interesting to know how old you are? However, I just learned something about this subject which may make my first question to you less meaningful. My first thought about this was that names for all different sorts of fonts were not thought up until the advent of the PC, namely Microsoft WORD. But it seems like that is when this dumb farm kid from KS came aware of them. Apparently, font or script naming dates way back to the invention of the printing press in 1440. It will be interesting if someone actually comes up with an answer for this.

I am 16 years old. I started to restore tractors 2 years ago, Ive been hooked since the first one. Im currently working on a farmall M with a 2 row, mounted corn picker (2MH) I will do the tractor, then the picker.
 
You can get a pretty advanced vinyl cutter for very little money these days. Maybe that is the end goal here.

My experience on the subject is the available fonts are rarely a perfect fit. The software I use has edge detection capability, but when it comes to text the edges come out ragged unless you have a super crisp super high resolution image to work from. In those cases I have had to brute force search for a close match font then stretch and angle the font to best match the image.
