O.T. - A Bit Of Rain

I live on York Creek Road, between San Marcos, TX and New Braunfels, TX.(or mid-way between Austin, TX and San Antonio, TX.) It is raining now (6 am). New Braunfels reports 4.4 of rain and San Marcos reports 5.7 We won't even be driving away with a tractor this morning as in one direction we have three low water crossings of the creek on the county road (all will be flooded) and in the other direction we have two low water crossings.
We do have an emergency escape route going up and over the hill, so we're fine (and don't need to go out today anyway). kelly
 
I was glad to see the rain finally make it to Dallas last night. We were teased with sprinkles Monday and Tuesday, but it finally let go with a decent amount of rain last night. I don't believe it caused any flooding problems here.

I think we have gotten over 8 inches in NM since it started raining about 6 weeks ago, and we needed all of it. I think the farmers got some soybeans, but the hay crop was terrible, many are selling their cattle.
 
4 1/2 inches here in south Manchaca, Kelly. It would have been great sleeping but my phone kept going off with flash flood alerts
 
We finally got a good decent amount of rain in northern Denton County last night also. We have had some scattered spit and sputters until last night. I will check rain gauge this afternoon.
 
Rain, rain all around, and none here. Last measurable rain was in June from a tropical depression.
Just a few sprinkles since.
One cell is lurking to the east of here
