Pancake generator salvage

I have a 6kv pancake generator out of an Allmand light generator that has failed windings. It is non repairable. Is there any salvage value for this without disassembling the generator? I asking about the generator itself, not the Kubota that powers it.

From the few I have seen. Not really. Once they are damaged. The repairs cost more than they are worth. Sadly that is becoming more common today.

One of my kids had a 6 kw Allmand pancake with open/shorted windings. Quote to rewind was nearly as much as a new replacement. The only value was a few bucks for the copper at the salvage yard.
