Massey 175 input seals

Reposting from the Massey forum:

I a not sure what input retainer this is- I have tried all seals mentioned in the original post below.

Does anyone recognize this input retainer, and know the part numbers for the PTO and input seal? It looks like the multipower, but it doesn't have the mechanism on the right hand side, or a hole for where the mechanism would be.

The MP PTO input shaft had the oil seal much deeper inside the shaft. I wonder if you have a retainer and main input shaft from an eight speed transmission? I've never had an eight speed apart to see if those parts are similar to what you have.
 

Yep this wound up being the case. Parts guys were not very helpful, and I went to an Massey Dealer too. Even after I brought the parts in the wrong in was ordered. I had to bring up the 8 speed thing. Well the seal finally got here, will get it buttoned up this weekend
