Does this go on the engine you tore down a while ago and totally rebuilding? If so I was wondering how you were coming on that dont remember anything being posted lately.

What is the cause of cracking ? Uneven torquing due to fatigued fasteners, warped block, cooling problems from trapped bubbles?

I think just age and being overheated and shoving to much
horsepower through them . The one head came off the engine
with a cracked block that one has been overheated a bunch of
times and running a 50 to 120 horsepower five stage
programmer and plus 50 horsepower fuel injectors that one
would break the duals loose on pavement in 4 th gear . The
other engine was a complete engine I got to replace the block
that was cracked that engine had just over 600,000 on it . So I
think age and abuse is the cause .
