Corn Picking Day

Red Rock Threshers Corn Picking Day is Oct 9 from 10 to 3 at Jerry and Ruth Ver Meer's farm located 1 1/2 miles east of Pella, Ia. on Vermeer road/old Hwy 102. Picking and shelling all day. Bring your own equipment or just come and watch. Pella FFA Alumni is the food vendor. I'm planning on going. Chris

Hey Chris, Coming down to my neck of the woods. Only about 15 miles from my place. I welded at Ver Meers my first job after high school. Are you bringing the 1550 down? I want to be there but the wifey has a pretty long honey-do list for the weekend. We have friends coming to stay in our guest house Saturday evening. And I have a few beans yet to combine but it doesn't look like the weather is going to cooperate for that. Just wondering if you are coming to watch or coming to play.
