Last of Fall Scenery

I took a drive to catch some of what must be the last of the fall scenery. The leaves have hung on longer than usual in spite of the strong winds. Warmer than normal and continuing very dry. Been over a year now and not much water left anymore.
Touring the steep hills and winding, dusty roads with the 52 Merc.

BTW, I like the trees better when they're turning green in the spring.

Thanks for the beautiful ride along. We have been unusually dry here this year too. But we still have great fall colors.

Were you traveling in the same general direction from your farm or is it a mixture of directions of roads. Sometime it would be interesting to do a video where you exactly narrate the route. Something like We are heading out the driveway headed east for 1/2 mile, turn right south for 2 miles, turn left east for 5 miles etc. etc. That would be interesting to me because I'm a geography NUT, but probably boring to your average video viewer.

Do you have any topographic maps of your area? I used to spend hours with topographic maps of this area.

Hi Ron. Thanks for watching and commenting. I was mostly South bound for the first half and then made a bit of a circle to go back North home. I guess the easiest way would be to do a screen shot of google earth of the area and then draw in the lines of where I travelled. I might try that some time.
