part for JD 5500

My brother is looking for a used drawbar support for his JD 5500 part no. RE237865. Hoping for one from a salvage yard as new one is over the top. Would anyone know of a salvage yard which might have one. Thanks, as any help would be appreciated.

Try calling All States Ag Parts (YTs parent company) they have salvage yards. Wengers of Myerstown, Worthington Ag parts are a couple others. Search John Deere tractor salvage yards and start calling the ones you find.

Trouble is, the typical salvage yard will charge you half of new for a part that's half worn out!
