A Little Video Of How I Hung My Mini Horse Harness

I watched the very beginning but didn't listen, will do that tonight. Only glaring thing I saw was, you hang your collars wrong. I was taught that a collar hangs upside down so the cap of the collar only takes on the shape of the horse's neck. Less sore necks from a collar hung upside down. Otherwise the collar takes the shape of what it is hanging from and it becomes that shape, then it is like us wearing someone else's shoes.

I do like the neatness in your barn! I had that skill as a young man, right now I am guilty of my calf barn not being as clean as I prefer but have fall break in a couple of weeks and plan on rectifying that. I have a team of paint Shetland ponies and a team of Norwegian Fjords. Have a mule for single work as well as an old shetland gelding for the kids to drive single. I am hoping your ponies appear on the video.

Thanks for the compliment! :)^D I wish my house was as neat as the barn is now. I wish my back yard was half way that neat. I am going to (try) to keep this part of the barn for horses rather than storage. I need to get that saw back to the factory and hang the shovels forks rakes and brooms on the wall.

I know what your saying about the collars. These are one piece nonadjustable cheep light weight collars that hanging them on a nail would not change the top. One seller
had them on ebay for a short time. I think they were from India. I am trying to get set up where i can harness the horses from my wheelchair in the barn. I can not stand
to do anything without holding on with one hand or lean on something that can not move. I have no one here to help. My wife can not cook or any chores without sitting. I
work the horses from the wheelchair using all the commands which keeps them. Example, Last evening I was dumping a loader bucket of chopped hay over the fence. Prancer
wanted to be under the bucket and keep the other two back. Before I dumped the bucket I said, Prancer, back back up. He backed up so i could dump. A few days before I was
dumping chopped hay for the thre mares I had in an earlier video. Misty was standing where I would dump on her back. I said Misty, step up. She stepped up out of the way
for me to dump. I wish I was able to video these actions that give me the proof of how smart these little horses are.

Looks great. Harness hanging on wood as it should:) As always you are an inspiration to all.
