Injection pump timing set

Hello I have a long 445 with a utb engine.Im
removing the injection pump and need advice on
how to set the timing and what to look for any help
would be appreciated thanks

That pump can be removed/replaced without setting timing. There's a scribe line on the pump flange and also a line on the timing case to align when replacing pump. The pump tapered shaft has a key for correct alignment in the pump drive gear, that stays in engine. Gear must be pulled from the tapered shaft to remove pump.
