I finally demoed the BV4180 today. You were right its fast and will eat a big windrow. I havent signed for it yet but I think its going to stay here. Baled 182 bales this afternoon while learning how to run it. Thanks for your help. Tony

Glad its working out for you. These Kubota balers are becoming very popular in my neighborhood. I love ke to take and blow off the dust and suck that accumulates under the side covers before I grease the baler, and keep the chain oiler topped up with new oil. I have put 2000 bales through my baler this summer, so far.

Yes I always clean most of the hay and chaff off a baler every evening. I check for hot bearings at the same time. I havent serviced this machine myself yet but it looks pretty simple. This one doesnt have automatic oilers. Most everyone down here uses spray lube on the chains. I just need to figure out how to really work the monitor I can see what you said about a learning curve but Ill have my son walk me through it once he gets it down. Thanks again Tony

Leaf blower does wonders for the cleanup after baling.
