I painted the 1550 last spring and it came out good. I said thats it, no more painting for me. I must have forgotten that today. I painted the trash rake and the 3 bottom pull plow today so they would look better behind the 1550. After I started, I remembered why I said I was done painting, but I got through it.

I think everyone appreciates equipment that looks nice. More important the paint's purpose is to protect the metal from corroding. My problem with paint is I would go to nearly any length to do a good paint job and after it's done I don't even wash the equipment.
 
I like to see tractors and implements painted to original colors if you are to put the effort into the project. But also respect the owners right to paint whatever color they chose. Looks great to me.
 
Every time I paint something I swear its going to be the last thing I ever paint the rest of my life . It is so much work but it does look nice when its done . Ive got one more loader I need to paint and then I swear thats it lol

It's fun to using a spray gun. The prep work is about as much fun as the prep work the day before a colonoscopy.
 
I love to paint its the prep work I hate . I had over 100 hours prep work in my last project . When think youre done quit for the night come back the next day and see all the places you need to redo do that about 5 times and youll about be ready to Paint
