I didn't buy any of this. JD 420 will spin over, didn't have any gas,but I believe it would run. Tires are holding air,that's the nicest thing I can say about them. Decent looking tractor, but $1700 and gotta winch it on trailer........ I dunno. Not a JD guy. Anyone know about pedal tractors? This one has the matching wagon.....$150 is asking price, again I dunno value. JD in the woods and the ford can be sold when the old guy is pushing up daisies, his words. Couple non running Bush Hog riding mowers....$500 for the pair.

I have no idea what a non running 420 is worth, but you already answered the important question, its not worth $1700 to you. Sometime its better to walk away. I would bet it will still be sitting there if you decided it was worth getting.

Those Bush Hog garden tractors are reasonably rare well worth picking up.

Not much profit left on the 420 at $1700, especially without hearing it run. It appears to be a 1957 model or a 1956 with a yellow stripe painted on the hood. Its a row crop (T) type, which is a common type. It was originally 6 volt positive ground but appears to have been changed to 12 volts, most likely negative ground. I only see one fuel cap, so its not an all-fuel.
