If you see it coming, get out of the way. If you see it going, likewise, get out of the way because it might be coming instead of going.
 
It's a pushme pullyu. Always handy! I am a bit miffed though. If I had to back up, there's no putting the tractor on the other end of the trailer.... nor was the trailer tandem steerable. Always thought that would be handy for steering around tight curves & lining up to the dock plate.

The loading doors might be in the back, but that may not matter for that rig. I'm surprised they did not tuck the rear carrier inside the back edge of the trailer. With units like that could eighty and ninety foot trailers be in the near future?
 


I could see something like that becoming a rrality.

If it was made to carry a worldwide standard shipping container, without any alterations to the container.
 
Reminds me of the cabunder that a couple of companies experminted with during the late '70s early '80s. They didn't make it, the Teamsters said that their members would not drive them.

Yes, they did not want to be in the same danger zone as cars and other low slung vehicles.
