Selling my NAA, original disk, plow - need advice on pri

Hello, I am new here and am hoping to get some advice on asking a fair price for my Ford NAA with the original Ford-Dearborn 2-bottom plow and Ford-Dearborn disk. The disk and plow are in very good shape but the the plow needs a keeper for one colter. The tractor has a rebuilt engine, new clutch, and a 6-volt alternator (still have the original generator), and I've had other work done on it. It does have mismatched rear tires. I see others listed and their asking price but I've never see a whole set with plow and disk listed.

Anyway, just looking for some advice and I live in NW Michigan.

A picture or two would help a lot but since the seller is asking for advice I will tell him to start high. If I were you I would
try for 2,750 dollars with the tires and hydraulic pump being a concern for a buyer. If you get no action after being advertised
for a few weeks then try 2,500 dollars. If you are in no hurry to sell then it may pay to wait until February or March next year
to attempt to sell your equipment. You may even be able to sell for a higher price than 2,750 dollars. It would allow you to
watch the market in your area for similar equipment to get a better idea on value. The NAA in current times is not a big deal for
people to own at least around here. They want an 8N or 9N because somebody in the family owned one years ago or they want a 600 or
800 series for the more modern features.

Hello RK welcome to YT! I am mot a Ford man but here is
some forum info. Due to this being a G rated forum you are
generally not allowed to post a picture until after your 5th
post. This is to keep internet bad guys from popping in and
dropping a bunch of ..no no.. photos. To get quicker
permission go to the ..Site Comments.. topic section in the
link. Post there with a topic of ..New poster picture help..
Then explain your intent. Pictures are added through the
..Choose files.. button in the ..Advanced Posting.. area at
the bottom of a New Post or a reply.
On you Ford knowing if it is repainted is helpful for pricing.

NW lower peninsula or upper?
I might be interested if lower peninsula.

My email is open on modern view at the link at the bottom of my post.

Not seeing an email address listed when I click the Email button...but I'm new to the forum. Live near Scottville in LP.

rkfarm,
I have a Jubilee, paid too much for it. Good tractor.

Just my observation. I see many small Kubotas in my hood replacing 70-80 year old
fords. The small kubotas have loaders, go slow enough for a tiller, backhoes and a
dealer that many times has zero interest on 5 year loans.

So What is an old tractor worth? Not as much as you some may think. It's worth
whatever you can sell it for...smaller market that used to be.

Grandpa love could give you a better idea what he pays and sells them for.

I agree with my New York State neighbor on price level. Around here in the southern tier I would think that tractor would be in the $2500 range with those implements. I live on a state highway - for every 60 year old tractor I see go by on a trailer, there are probably at least a dozen or more compact Kubota's, Deere's, or New Hollands. And the last few auctions I have attended I was really surprised at how low the old tractors are going. Those tractors from the 50's and 60's with 3 pt used to be 3K at auction - not any more in most cases.

Thanks to all for your help. I know that prices have dropped due to the popularity of compact 4wd tractors. I paid 3200$ for it 18 years ago and took it in and spent a little over 2000$ having it gone through and parts (like brakes, etc.) replaced. So I will take a beating on it for sure. Thanks again.

hang a shredder on the back(rotary cutter or brush hog). put an ad on craigslist... then show a picture of the $4,999 lawnmower from home depot or tractor supply...

and state your tractor will out last all of these zero turn mowers hands down and can be passed to the grand children for half the price... AND is also can plow, disc, blade, dig post holes, move hay bales, run a generator, and pull heavy trailers...... . . . while the other... can only mow grass and will need a new engine around 1000 hours or less, and a new mower deck along with 3 or more sets up blades. Then at 1250 hours will need a new trans, and at 1500 hours will need total replacement. Big difference between a 100 year machine and a 10 year machine.
