Kubota mid PTO

First off have you moved the selector lever , there is one that turns the mid&rear on and one position that turns on just the rear. I think all you need to do it position the selector lever right.

Understand that - but rear PTO works when engaged but mid will not when engaged. Is it hydraulically controlled internally?
Levers are in correct positions but mid shaft does not engage. It spins free by hand.

The Total PTO is controlled by a hydraulic clutch BUT the fact that the rear works tells me (AND IT IS COMMON) that some one has moved the selection lever with the tractor not running . Doing that bends the linkage that controls the selection. I will bet a weeks pay that you have bent linkage or shear bolt there where it goes in the transmission. Not being pushy but have seen it many times just a common occurrence wend the operator does not know what he is doing. The fix more than likely requires removing all the rops, seat, sheet metal and hope you can find it without splitting the tractor
