You can see that this incident took teamwork. The truck driver had to have stopped well before the correct place. It was probably his first time getting a load at this plant and he must have declined the opportunity to go to the office for instructions. The plant operator had to have ignored the improper position of the truck and went ahead and opened the doors.
 
i would just get the drivers door open and drive ahead , then loader man can do the clean up. kina funny its only over the cab and not spilling over the box. but then it looks like 2 sets of dump gates up there.
 
Those gates can be tricky to operate at times. Also on this case it appears they just opened the wrong door.

Rustred, I assume that the driver is in the truck waiting to get dug out. If you were to try driving ahead you would get plenty of the mulch falling in under the drive tires lifting the front of the trailer, so that you would have plenty of damage to both the hopper and the trailer. Go from hero to zero and probably never drive again.
 
Most newer silos on asphalt plants has a secondary set of gates that can be shut in a emergency when the main gates wont shut. Usually due to the air/ electric solenoid failing .
