Are mw disc mowers any good

Im looking at disc mowers and found an m&w hc 687 that looks to be in good shape. I dont really know much about these mowers if they're worth having and parts availability

I used to work for a dealer that sold m&w disc mowers as well as other pieces of their equipment. The disc mowers gave good service if they weren't abused, that is mow pastures with bushes and rocks. They drive with a single shaft, hexagon , that runs the length of the bar and had to be removed to service each pod. I had a good opinion of them but have never owned one.

I have an HC 687. Its been a good mower with very little maintenance issues. That said, parts are getting hard to find.

Thats what I was afraid of. I think maybe I'll just keep looking.

I believe Rhino purchased M&W. Rhino can still get some parts.

Rhino's parts supply would logically be limited to stock on hand when they purchased M&W. They will be able to get parts until the shelves are empty, and that'll be the end of it.
