The above 6 pictures show (4) 30-60 Aultman Taylor and (1) 25-50 Aultman Taylor Prairie tractors all one behind the other plowing yesterday near Concordia,KS....Another 30-60 AT was there but had no lugs on the rear wheels so didnt plow..This could have been the most AT tractors plowing together in modern times.

Thanks for the pics! I was told at Rantoul this week the Pickneyville IL show next year is planning on having 100 plow bottoms with three Case steamers pulling it if all works out.
 
Thanks 1206 for the pics--Neat!!-They were plowing at the show I went to last week-end with a steamer and a 8 bottom plow--but they had at least 5 guys riding so when they came to the end they didn't have to work as hard to get them out of the ground as the 1 guy riding the plows you showed!--You Kan. guys are TUFF---Tee

I like the symbolism of that wind turbine in the background. Those old tractors were the "new" way of farming a hundred years back, a bit like the "new" way of producing our electricity now.

Thanks for the pictures! I still am puzzled as to how some of those grand old tractors survived the WW2 scrap drives, unless they were still operational and needed. Leo
 
I guess the guy(s) riding the lever wagon died early of lung cancer, infacema or just choked to death. Considering the amount of dust farmers ate before the invention of the cab tractor, amazing that lots lived to the 90-100 year range. On real dry days, sometimes I can't see the baler through the cab glass when rolling unless I turn and put the roller to the side or down wind. Can't imagine trying to bale with an open station.
