Today is my dad's birthday, 76. Went over for lunch. Mom got a bunch of boxes of A@ old pictures out of the closet. Had fun looking through them. Then we went to the shed and got my dad's Ford running. It wouldn't run, been sitting for a couple months. Points, condenser, and coil. Fired right up.

Only time I ever helped bale hay. New Market VA. I was 12 or 13.

No idea of me ,my grandma and the Farmall, date of '72. Steam tractor picture was in a group of pictures from when we helped my grandparents move from Iowa to OK.
 
Late June my dad went to drive it around, he drives it every few days. Wouldn't run. He didn't mention it,so when we went over there on 4th of July to pick-up the cub for some repairs,we didn't take any diagnostic tools. Went back over a few weeks later and found power to coil, but points not sparking. Ordered some parts, but took a long time to get back down there on a non rainy day. He sure was happy to get it running! He loves that tractor!
